Hi Teammates!

Timing is everything. Everyone needs a bit of encouragement from time to time. Even the most confident person has doubts from time to time. That is why I am so thankful when someone lets me know that what I am doing strikes a nerve in a positive sense. As I have said many times, everything that I do with the book, the interviews I have done with The 4th Quarter and The Euro Step, or the advice I offer when players reach out to me, is purely based on my will to give back and help. I want to help players reach their dreams as I did.

Although I wrote Same Name Different Game, I am not a trained author. I love hosting the interviews on The 4th Quarter and The Euro Step, yet I am not a trained journalist. I thoroughly enjoy talking to anyone looking for advice, but I would not call myself a mentor (yet). I focus on what I am and what I know. Because of my experiences playing and coaching overseas, I have seen a lot. I have heard a lot. I have lived a lot. My experiences have trained me.

As you can read in the DM screenshot, I watch and evaluate each episode of The Euro Step. There are some days I think I was not bad, and others when I think I was crap. Especially the last one with Tyren Johnson, I was very critical of myself. The interview and interaction with Tyren was good in my opinion, but the beginning was horrible. Those of you that were live at the start, know I cut stopped and started over. I could not get the words out right. Of course I edited that part out, so if you were not on live early, you missed it haha. And because I was overly critical of myself, the timing of that DM could not have been better. I needed that. So the moral of the story is to make sure you compliment or encourage those around you that you appreciate. You never know when that person needs it, but everyone needs it at some point. Be good to each other.

Thank you for taking the time to read my words!

Sean
